Product Review: The Perfect Pushup and The Perfect Pullup

I don't recall another fitness product that has received such an extensive and lengthy advertising campaign than The Perfect Pushup and The Perfect Pullup. Of course there is the Bowflex, which has been in existence for quite some time, but other than that, the majority of fitness equipment products are gimmick ab machines that seem to eventually fizzle out and fade away. Since The Perfect Pushup and The Perfect Pullup keeps advertising, my interest in this piece of equipment has peeked and I'm considering purchasing one. I'm more interested in The Perfect Pullup because I find pullups an essential back exercise and I start out with pullups in every back routine. Additionally, I prefer to workout my chest with free weights and the twisting motion can easily be added when conducting a dumbbell bench press. From what I've read on The Perfect Pullup, it's getting nothing but great reviews. The twisting motion that The Perfect Pushup introduced is in The Perfect Pullup and unlike a pushup, this motion can't be imitated while doing actual pullups like you can do with free weights on the bench. The twisting motion allows you to work more muscles, helping you create that V-shape back you're craving, while at the same time, help burn fat around your waste. I previously wrote on the importance of working out your back. After reading all the great reviews out there, I am planning on purchasing this product. It may be a little pricey at $99, so I would scour eBay, but the $99 may be worth it.

I like the traditional breakfast: omelets, pancakes, and French toast. If your not into fruits or oatmeal, but love breakfast, you can have 3 absolutely delicious, healthy breakfasts that are high in protein, and have good, slow-digesting carbs by just making a few adjustments to the recipe:1.) FRENCH TOAST -- Instead of quick-digesting white bread, opt for 2 slices of whole wheat toast. Batter in 1 egg mixed with cinnamon. Serve with sugar-free or low-sugar syrup.2.) OMELET -- You could use 2 eggs, but if you're striving for a low-fat diet, you can use egg whites. Add vegetables (I would go with peppers and onions) and low-fat ham, or potatoes, with 2% milk cheese (cheddar, provolone, mozzarella, or whatever you prefer).3.) PANCAKES -- With this protein pancake recipe, you can make pancakes with oatmeal, cottage cheese, and eggs. It's loaded with protein and still delicious: just add cinnamon and vanilla extract. Serve with sugar-free or low-sugar syrup.

Some people avoid training and working out their back because they find it boring or it's just not as "sexy" as bench pressing or arm workouts. If you've negligected training your back, that's unfortunate because by training your back, you can take advantage of two huge benefits:1.) Building your back helps burn belly fat. That's because the more muscle you train, the more fat you burn, and the largest muscle in youbody is your lats. Add pullups into your routine to really hit this muscle group.2.) Your arms will get stronger the more you work your back. Rowing movements that work the back are great for building up your arms.

harming healthy tissue. Green tea even contains more antioxidants than many fruits and vegetables. Additionally, green tea can help prevent heart disease because it contains polyphenols, which lower cholesterol levels. This is one of the reasons why the rate of heart disease in Japanese men is quite low despite 75% being smokers.

Best Abdominal Exercise: Bicycle Crunch

In order to maximize stimulation of the abs, the bicycle crunch is the most effective exercise. What makes it the best is that is that it is the only ab exercise capable of stimulating four different sections of the abs. They key to making it work is perfect form. Here are the steps for perfect form on this ab exercise: 1.) Lie flat on the floor with your lower back pressed to the ground. For this exercise, you will need to put your hands beside your head. Be careful however to not strain with the neck as you perform it. Now lift your shoulders into the crunch position. 2.) Bring knees up to where they are perpendicular to the floor, with your lower legs parallel to the floor. This will be your starting position. 3.) Now simultaneously, slowly go through a cycle pedal motion kicking forward with the right leg and bringing in the knee of the left leg. Bring your right elbow close to your left knee by crunching to the side, as you breathe out. 4.) Go back to the initial position as you breathe in. 5.) Crunch to the opposite side as you cycle your legs and bring closer your left elbow to your right knee and exhale.6.) Continue alternating in this manner until all of the recommended repetitions for each side have been completed.
