Check out this video of Patrick Willis working out. Patrick likes to start his workouts with a little bit of cardio to get the blood flowing. Patrick then credits his core strength for being able to develop his freakish physique.

    Cardio is important to warm your body up. Sure, it’s boring but totally important. Even when I’m at fitness bootcamp, at least one of our 6 stations is cario-heavy (if not completely cardio). When considering weight loss (not Willis’ number one worry it believe?) it’s important to have a degree of cardio in your strength training days to help jump-start your metabolism.
